We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage! The room was great value for money, with a comfortable bed and a modern, spacious shower. The location was perfect, nestled down a quiet lane with beautiful green fields around. The staff, Sophie and Dan, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even left a light on for us and salted the decking when it snowed. Plus, they were more than happy to let my sister visit. it felt like a cozy home away from home!

Food for breakfast could have been better - an extra roll of paper towels would have been helpful. Although I'm sure Sophie would have provided it if we had asked.

a peaceful and convenient location with a friendly host. Parking available before check-in. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a nice touch. The cottage was cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful Christmas decorations. Walking distance to pubs and close to beautiful attractions like Lacock Abbey. We would love to return in the summer.

    Slightly firm mattress.

Fig Cottage was the perfect hideaway for us as young travelers. the cottage itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had a comfortable bed. Sophie, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations on places to visit. the location was central, allowing us to easily explore Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Stonehenge, and even venture further to Cheddar Gorge and the Cotswolds. We also loved having a mini market just a 5-minute walk away for essential supplies.

    Felt so relaxed, no complaints.

The cottage had a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a Christmas getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

The cottage was not very well-maintained. We noticed several burnt-out lightbulbs that were not replaced, creating a dim and gloomy atmosphere.

The location of this cottage was fantastic! It was conveniently situated near popular attractions such as Lacock, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, and Castle Combe. We were able to easily access these destinations and explore the surrounding areas. Another positive aspect was the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. The cottage was pristine and well-maintained, offering a cozy and relaxing environment. the fully equipped kitchen was a great advantage for self-catering, allowing us to prepare our own meals during our romantic escape.

The comfort of the bed was not up to our preference. We found the mattress to be too firm for our liking, which affected our quality of sleep.

The room at Fig Cottage was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy king-size bed that made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. The private bathroom was stunning, with a refreshing rainfall shower that left me feeling invigorated. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I prefer a bathtub instead of just a rainfall shower, but that's just my preference. Others might still enjoy it.

Loved the fully equipped kitchen, perfect for my Nespresso addiction. The outdoor seating area had beautiful garden views, where I enjoyed sipping my coffee. Plus, with free WiFi and private parking, I could stay connected while exploring the countryside.

Oh, just one thing - who needs a gym when you can go cycling and hiking all day? But hey, at least I burned off those extra scones!
